Support Overview
Suicide and the oppression from suicidal thoughts are not to be taken lightly, nor be dismissed as “no big deal” or treated with a “man up” mentality. This topic is considered taboo. Discussing it is like swearing in church. Because of this, many people bury their pain.
This is one of the main reasons I founded Liberty & Courage. It’s time to provide a place where people can go, remain anonymous if they wish, and talk to someone who has struggled with suicide for nearly 23 years: me from age 15 to 38. This can be conquered. You can be healed. You can begin to live a happier and fulfilling life.
That’s why I’m here. To shine a light in the darkness. To help as many people as possible.
Lastly, there is a Community section called “Resurrecting Your Soul” where you can share your thoughts with other members.
What We Offer
I offer a Christ-focused solution to the chronic mind disease that is suicide. The 23 years of suffering this disease, from teenager to full blown adult, has supplied me with a comprehensive perspective of the pain, hopelessness, and agony that haunts us.
I hate the suffering in the world. I get wrecked by every announcement of suicide, overdose, or “accident”. A recent death was Ricky “The Hitman” Hatton, a British World Champion boxer (age 46, died on September 14, 2025). He was a man the crowd adored, and they traveled the world to watch him fight. Our military veterans have a great need for help. And while I am not a veteran, I was given the green light from Andy Stumpf to be a helper. Thanks, Andy 🙂 (I’m pretty sure he won’t remember that).
With Andy’s influence, I obtained the QPR Certification - Veteran’s Edition. This is a certification that taught me about the worldwide epidemic of suicides each year, mainly affecting men between 18 and 35 years old. The comprehensive coursework showed me the Warrior’s Perspective and I am confident that I can be, at the very least, the first step to help you conquer your suffering and bring healing.
Important Disclaimer
Suicide is a very serious and sensitive topic. I must stress that I am not a board certified medical professional, nor a nationally certified counselor (that is a work in progress). With that being said, there will be limits to my abilities. I will continue to grow and improve as the years go by and I will always do my best to refer you to someone more knowledgeable than myself.
For certified counseling and medical assistance, I provide referrals for a network of professionals that can support you. This includes: ongoing counseling, therapy, and prescription assistance. I WILL provide an alternative. May that bring you comfort.
How to Get Suicide Support
As a member of the Liberty & Courage community, you will have access to contact me after submitting a brief form detailing your situation and providing some key information. This information is confidential and will never be shared.
After I review your submission, I will make first contact, either by text or email. Then we’ll discuss the best way to continue the conversation, whether over a Signal video call or typical cellular/landline call.
Please note that Signal, an encrypted service, will provide the utmost security for our conversations. I recommend that you download this app and it can be our primary form of communication.
Free Support
We provide 100% free support to anyone who needs it, and this primarily covers the first 2 calls that we have together. These calls are typically between 30 and 60 minutes long.
Our long-term goal is to provide more free support, and grow to have additional team members support you, but for now we have to charge for additional time (see Paid Support).
The only way we can expand, increase availability, and offer more free or reduced-cost support is to have a sustainable business, which we aim to build through membership subscriptions. Every paid subscription gets us closer to that goal!
Paid Support
As mentioned above, free support is provided for the first 2 calls.
Once the first 2 calls are completed, anyone who initiates additional support, such as a dedicated phone call, will need to pay a fee of $30 per call. Please know that I am going to treat everyone with grace with regards to payments.
There may be times when we initiate contact with you. This could be to conduct a follow up or other kind of outreach. You will not incur any costs for contact that is initiated by Liberty & Courage.
The goal is not to make money. This is a Mission To Save Lives.
