What is the Forge?

The Forge is a place of transformation.
Ideas are tested and beliefs are challenged.
Weakness is exposed and removed.

This is where discipline replaces drift. Where truth replaces illusion. A place where men and women are shaped into something stronger than they were before.

The Forge is not a one-time fix. Lasting transformation requires you to return to the Forge repeatedly, enduring and advancing through all seven major stages of the forging process for every part of your life that must be shaped, hardened, and strengthened.

The Forging Process

Raw Material

 
 
This is your starting point. Know what you're made of. 
Be brutally honest and establish your baseline to measure success.

We'll document your baseline in areas that interest you. Simple forms will be provided and stored to analyze progress.

Two assessments will be taken:
    1. Temperament via Arno Profile System (APS)
    2. Brain Type via Amen Clinics Brain Type Quiz

Into the Fire

 
 
This is the first step forward where you challenge your beliefs, consider bad habits, identify fears, seek discipline, and begin to take a new form. You formulate your strategy and develop an action plan.

During this stage we'll apply your Temperament and Brain Type results to the areas you are looking to improve, or wish to increase your understanding. This will serve as the basis for creating an action plan that is personalized, realistic, and achievable

Things may get uncomfortable or challenging here, but this is a judgment-free zone built on positivity, support, and encouragement.

The Hammer

 
 
Put your action plan to the test. Apply new knowledge and new understanding to form your new self and start to conquer your fears and break habits. The foundation of discipline begins to form.

Your action plan will provide the guidance and instructions to help you get started. Getting started is not always pretty and you may experience challenges. Just like the hammer striking the iron, it may take many strikes (attempts) to get the results you want.

This is where our follow-up sessions and daily correspondence comes in. You will always be supported.

Shaping and Forming

 
 
During this stage, we compare the action plan with real life outcomes and start to adapt. We iterate on our approach by refining the action plan to counteract real life challenges. Even with challenges, your discipline and habits have brought you hope in completing your objectives.

You are truly enjoying your new mindset.

Quenching

 
 
Quenching involves rapidly cooling heated steel in water or oil to produce a hard martensitic structure. This is often followed by tempering to reduce brittleness and improve toughness, which is crucial for steel used in applications like construction or automotive manufacturing.

During this stage, like a baptism, you are immersed fully in your discipline habits.  You have committed to a new way of life, never returning to your old form.

This stage is a personal realization. Only you know when you have reached your desired end.

Tempering

 
 
Tempering is used to reduce brittleness and improve toughness, which is crucial for steel used in applications like construction or automotive manufacturing.

Strength
When high levels of strength is the main goal, the tempering temperature is kept low. During your strength tempering process, you will gradually grow in strength and contentment.

Toughness
When toughness is the primary goal, and strength is secondary, a relatively high tempering temperature is used. During your toughness tempering process, you won’t slow down. You’ll increase in intensity, and you’ll be gritty and steadfast.

New Confidence
At this stage, not every challenge discourages you. You embrace "the suck" and are confident that you will overcome. Now, every difficulty you experience only hardens your resolve and reminds you of the unwavering discipline that you possess.
